This DIY wedding centerpiece is shockingly easy to make and mostly made with items from Dollar Tree. This is definitely for all the do it yourself brides out there and looks professionally made. It will light up your wedding tables with flowers, candles, and of course a little bling! Let’s get in to the tutorial.
From Dollar Tree:
Flowers, 4 white bunches 3 red bunches (I used carnations)
1 tall vase
1 candle holder (optional)
1 dry floral foam ring
1 white candle
Rhinestone mesh wrap <link
E6000 glue (not shown) Can also use hot glue
Clip off the flowers from the bunches, I left about 2 inches of stem. I left the green leaf on for about one third of the flowers just for a bit of greenery.
Starting with the red flowers, insert them around the bottom of the floral ring. Adding glue on the stems of the flowers is totally up to you. Using school glue is also an option if you do not want to use hot glue or E6000.
Then continue to fill in the rest with the white flowers.
Now you can glue the rhinestone wrap around the vase. I chose to use E6000 glue because I wanted to make sure that it had the strongest bond. However, choose whichever adhesive you prefer.
Dollar Tree has a large assortment of candles so you can choose whatever style, color, or height you prefer. Place the vase in the middle of your flower arrangement.
If you choose to make your vase taller, you can glue the candle holder to the bottom of the vase now.
Pat yourself on the back for a job well done! On the other hand, i’m assuming you will be making more than one of these for your wedding. So i’ll let you get to it!
